Getting Started

Welcome to WSL Dashboard — a powerful GUI tool designed for managing Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) distributions.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure your system meets the following requirements:

• Operating system: Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11.
• WSL 2: WSL 2 must be enabled. If it is not yet installed, refer to the official Microsoft documentation.
• Optional dependency: If you need to manage USB devices, it is recommended to install usbipd-win.

Quick Start

1. Download: Visit GitHub Releases or the official download page.
   • We recommend downloading the Portable EXE for a quick experience.
   • For system integration, download the Setup EXE instead.
2. Run:
   • Portable version: run wsldashboard.exe directly.
   • Setup version: run the installer and follow the prompts.
3. Manage: Once launched, the app automatically scans and displays the WSL distributions already present on your system.
